Medtool – Die digitale Plattform des Dekanats der Medizinischen Fakultät der Universität Zürich
Die Plattform umfasst aktuell folgende Subtools:
- Filling the Gap
Dieses Tool unterstützt die Antragsstellenden für das zweijährige Laufbahnförderprogramm für talentierte und motivierte «Clinician Scientists».
- Dissertation
Das Tool unterstützt Doktorierende und Betreuende bei der Anmeldung, Durchführung und Verwaltung von Doktorarbeiten an der Medizinischen Fakultät.
- Promotionsrecht
Über das Tool kann der Antrag auf Erteilung des Promotionsrechts eingereicht werden. Dies gilt sowohl für einen Neuantrag als auch für die Verlängerung eines bestehenden Promotionsrechts.
- Master
Dieses Tool dient den administrativen Abläufen bei der Einreichung der Masterarbeiten.
Medtool wird kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt, um eine transparente, effiziente und benutzerfreundliche Unterstützung für alle Beteiligten im akademischen Umfeld zu bieten.

The platform currently comprises the following subtools:
- Filling the Gap
This tool supports applicants for the two-year career development programme designed for talented and motivated clinician scientists.
- Dissertation
This tool assists doctoral candidates and supervisors with the registration, execution, and management of doctoral theses at the Faculty of Medicine.
- Promotionsrecht (Right to Supervise Doctoral Theses)
Through this tool, applications for the conferral of the right to supervise doctoral theses may be submitted—both initial applications and requests for extension of an existing right.
- Master
This tool facilitates the administrative processes related to the submission of Master’s theses.
